.Paramedic
Paramedics are first res-ponders in emergency situations. Paramedics respond to 911 and emergency calls and give medical attention to people in trauma, and move them to hospitals mostly in County General Hospital for advanced treatment because people's lives are at stake, paramedics work quickly in the field to assess the situation, use their training to stabilize patients as best as they can, using their knowledge that they learn from their Instructor to stop bleeding, use CPR or other techniques to do for injured patient. Paramedics use specialized tools and are expected to lift patients using by backboard or gurney into ambulances for transport to hospitals. As first res-ponders, paramedics start a patient care report, documenting treatments and medications given. While most work in ambulances, some paramedics may be assigned to helicopters (Maverick), they are called Life Flight.
A. Job Skills and Requirement1. Compassion
Paramedics interact with patients and their families usually only minutes after trauma has occurred, and must be supportive and understanding of their pain.
2. Interpersonal SkillsParamedics work in teams, and must work with patients, families, doctors and nurses in tense situations.
3. CommunicationListening to patients and people on the scene will help determine what course of action to take, and calmly speaking to people to tell them what will happen is very helpful in this job.
4. StrengthParamedics have to lift patients on gurneys and may have to kneel and bend.
5. Problem SolvingParamedics need to be able to assess the situation and administer the right medicine and procedures to save people's lives.
6. FirefighterThe main duties of a firefighter are to help protect the public in emergency situations. They respond to a wide variety of calls, such as car crashes, chemical spills, flooding, water rescue and general rescue as well as fires. With many fire crews being trained as first responders they can provide first aid until the arrival of ambulance personnel. In addition to attending emergency call outs and rescuing people and animals from life-threatening situations, the job entails:
- Using sophisticated firefighting and rescue equipment
- Promoting fire safety via talks, advice and training sessions
- Inspecting and enforcing safety standards in commercial and residential properties
- Demonstrating the use of firefighting equipment
- Performing practice drills
- Checking and maintaining vehicles, equipment, hydrants and water supplies

In Character Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old and not have reached 60 years of age.
You must be a citizen of Los Santos.
You must be able to write and speak understandable/clear English.
You must be physically and mentally fit.

1. Application:
The candidate must complete the application form, writing a biography of at least two hundred and fifty words. This is your first impression you will set upon us; your application needs to be as perfect as possible if you want to set a good impression of yourself. If we think your application is worthy, you will be told to proceed to the second phase.
2. Interview:If approved by the Human Resources Department, the candidate may proceed to second step which is the interview. The interview will be conducted by a member of the Human Resources department and he'll be verifying if you have what it takes to become a paramedic.
3. Training:Once you've completed your interview successfully, you'll be given a quick training about regular procedures within our department. After this training, you'll be given permission to continue your duties as a Trainee.
4. Graduation:After showing quality on your services, the final phase would be the promotion to Paramedic. This means now you're fully eligible to work for the Los Santos Fire and Medical Department.
